This Month of January 2010:

With two Full Moons in December, we will move into the New Year of 2010 and the New Moon of the Year occurs first, and it has also a powerful Solar Eclipse, on January 15th. So this kicks off the new year of 2010 with quite the powerful shifts and transitions all hitting at the same time. The New Moon on January 15th is also a Solar Eclipse and is also the day that Mercury turns direct. With all of these aspects coinciding at the same time, we can expect that the signals of change and transition set the pace for the New Year.

2010 is universally a # three year, one that emphasizes creativity, self-expression and happiness. A renewed positive outlook expands our enthusiasm, setting a new theme for this New Year. Having the 3 after experiencing the eleven/two will seem to be filled with more excitement and more certainty. The two is always a time of waiting, and the eleven required that we build our inner strength, faith and trust. Moving into the three gives us a sense of optimism. Moving into 2010 the aspects occurring provide the signals of transition and that our life is veering into positive new directions.

January is universally a four month (in numerology terms) and brings the changes from December into the New Year of 2010. With 2010 being a three year we will move out of the time of waiting into a time of expressing and having many creative opportunities. Looking back into our recent history, 2001 was a three year, as was 1992, 1983, 1974, 1965, and so on. As we review the events of those years from a personal, community and global perspective, we will see many of the options moving into place in which similarities occurred. I looked back on those years and they were not my favorite...so this year I am going to work toward making that turn totally around.

January gives us the four energy that gives us greater capacity to plan, organize, set goals and put the stepping stones into place. This comes at a very important time and also coincides with Mercury retrograding in Capricorn, emphasizing business aspirations and new ventures.

Saturn in Libra has reached just 4 degrees, but has brought the accountability issues to be in the business and industries that portend to stand for equality, fairness and justice. Saturn turning retrograde on January 13th will begin to review these issues and in mid 2010 will return to the last few degrees of Virgo, which will heighten the accountability for these industries. This will happen at a time when many situations will require strict review for issues and decisions that have been made since 2003, as the Saturn / Uranus requirements for accountability come into the spotlight.

The Solar Eclipse / powerful New Moon on January 15th gives us the opportunity to solidify our business revisions from the Mercury retrograde. Setting these important decisions into place mid-month, we are poised and prepared to set sails into our new directions.

Jupiter is usually in one sign per year, and has been in Aquarius since January 2009. On January 17th, just two days after Mercury turns direct and the Solar Eclipse / New Moon occurred, the planet of Jupiter moves out of Aquarius and into Pisces. This transition becomes a powerful transition because of all that it signals. Jupiter moves into Pisces, the same sign that Uranus has been in since March 2003.

Jupiter will come up behind Uranus and expand the folds of time that have many communications that will begin to be seen. Like unfolding a scroll of events that has previously been hidden, Jupiter unfolds the time of Uranus in Pisces until it joins Uranus in the last degrees of Pisces in the later month of May 2010. Then they both move into the sign of Aries together and connect to the exact degree in early June 2010.

This means that Jupiter will have blown all the way through Pisces in less than five months, a journey that usually takes a year. Jupiter will move out of Pisces and touches down into the sign of Aries. The significance is incredible and the impact powerful as Uranus precipitates a generational transition and Jupiter brings the scroll of events from 2003 to the present and plays a part in the new generational decisions of Uranus moving into Aries.

The results will begin to be seen as Jupiter and Uranus turns into Aries unlock the powerful transitions of this time. Jupiter and Uranus in Aries are in opposition to Saturn in Libra, and these important aspects of accountability are squaring the transformations slated for this Pluto in Capricorn era.

On January 29th, Sun shines on the Mars retrograde process in Leo, which emphasizes the Leo/Aquarius theme of leadership and choices for humanity. This becomes the theme as well as the Full Moon at 10 Aquarius / 10 Leo gives us yet another dimension to the leadership decisions and the reflection of philosophy in the ethics of humanity. The call for review of this time will also take into account that Jupiter moving through Pisces, is unfolding the scroll of events that occurred in early 2003, that up until now have remained hidden. Leadership and choices for humanity will be seen in a whole different light.
